Welcome to The Typography Test!
I will be testing your love of type in three areas:
History: How well do you know the typeface? How well do you know the designer?
Recognition: Can you identify typefaces on the fly? Oh really? What are the two faces used in the image above?
Terminology: What is the tail of a "Q" called again?
Each area will divided into two parts. The first part will be basic type knowledge, where the second part will be much more difficult and aimed at the obscure.
A note before you begin. It would be incredibly easy to cheat on this test using a certain online faux-cyclopedia, but where's the fun in that? Be honest with yourself. Only posers cheat.
