Much like this baby, many of us often think of only ourselves and our pain.  Selfish, selfish child.  However, there is an evolutionary tactic built into us that helps us survive in the wild: empathy.  When we care about others and can put ourselves in their shoes, we are likely to receive help when we need it, and also to avoid some of their pitfalls.  So how empathetic are you?  Be honest now!
